What is the difference between using HDPE sheath and PVC sheath for high voltage cable?

From the perspective of cost, HDPE sheath will be higher, but HDPE has stronger corrosion resistance than PVC sheath, so HDPE sheath is generally recommended if it is in the sea or chemical zone.
