Ultra-Long-Life Mineral Insulated Cable

Since the magnesium oxide powder in the insulation layer of conventional mineral insulated cable is hygroscopic, using it in a humid environment will cause the insulation resistance to decrease. If you need to use it in a humid environment, you must pay attention to the following:
- Strictly seal the terminal and the joint
- Prefer seamless copper sheath or waterproof sheath
- Avoid long-term immersion in water or acid-base corrosion environment
Mineral insulated cable used on offshore platforms is recommended to use stainless steel as the sheath, which can effectively resist salt spray and moisture.
